Our Reports

We are a newly established non-profit, and as we are just getting started, we don't have formal reports to share yet. However, we are fully committed to transparency and openness in everything we do.

As the project rolls out, we will publish regular updates, progress reports, and financial details on our website. In the meantime, we are happy to walk you through our plans, expected impact, and how we aim to grow this initiative.

Please feel free to reach out to us at info@stemsupfoundation.org.

Our Upcoming Project

At STEMSUP, we have always believed that fundamental transformation starts with access—access to knowledge, guidance, and opportunity. Today, that access is digital. However, the digital world remains just out of reach for millions of children in rural and marginalised communities.

That’s why we are planning to launch a pilot phase of Project ThulirTech - Sparking growth where needed most, a new initiative that brings digital learning and mentorship to the heart of underserved villages in Tamil Nadu.

Why “Thulir”?

In Tamil, the word Thulir (துளிர்) means a sprout—a tender shoot pushing up from the soil, full of promise.

It is small but determined. Fragile but full of potential.

For us, Thulir is the perfect metaphor for the children we work with—bright, curious minds who only need the proper support to grow, thrive, and lead.

ThulirTech blends that local, rooted symbolism with the global power of technology because we believe the next generation of innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders can come from anywhere—even the most remote corners of our country.

Project ThulirTech will begin with two key components:

Thulir Labs: Small community learning spaces equipped with TV screens, tablets, offline educational content, and foundational STEM kits are designed especially for children who may have never accessed a computer or the Internet.

Thulir Guides: A group of dedicated mentors—college students, young professionals, and volunteers—will guide learners through digital basics, STEM subjects, and future career pathways while offering inspiration and support.

The pilot phase will launch in three districts of Tamil Nadu, including:

  • Thoothukudi

  • Virudhunagar (Aspirational District)

  • Ramanathapuram (Aspirational District*)

These are communities with enormous untapped potential—and minimal infrastructure. ThulirTech aims to change that.

*An Aspirational District was designated by the Government of India under the Aspirational Districts Programme (ADP) and launched by NITI Aayog in 2018. The program aims to quickly and effectively transform districts with relatively lesser progress in key social areas.

We will measure and refine as we go, but early projections show:

  • 3,000+ students gaining consistent access to digital learning

  • 100+ mentors supporting growth over 12 months

  • 60% increase in digital confidence and STEM understanding

  • 25% rise in school retention among girls

  • A stronger bridge between rural youth and future-ready skills

Project ThulirTech is not about technology for technology's sake. It is about opening doors that have been shut for too long. It is about reaching a child in a remote village and saying, "You are seen. You are capable. Moreover, you are not alone."

This is not just a project—it is a promise. We are soon to land with the first shots of change. It is time to water them with care, consistency, and belief.
